The 2007 ADOMA Conference
We had a great time at the 2007 Conference at Pala Casino Spa & Hotel. I hope you were there!
Many We had educational programs:
- Dealer Panel – we asked questions of the dealers to see what they expected of the business office.
- Business Managers/Controllers Panel – we had some of the veteran controllers respond to what the dealer had to say and we asked more questions from these controllers to learn from their experiences
- DMV Panel – Reps from the on-line DMV processors, CVR, DMV Desk & triVIN, and the Program Administrator from the BPA program at the DMV, Evelyn Carr, discussed the different online services, where we are now and where we are going with the BPA program
- HR program – we learned about Gen X – the Entitlement Generation – who they are, what they expect, and how to manage them properly
- Body Linguistics – how to read body language

We had fun:
- Time at the pool with Cabanas & food
- Wine Tour with dinner, driven in limos
- Saturday night event – Games and buffet – the Chocolate Fountain was yummy

We networked:
- Hospitality Suite on Thursday night to meet & greet the attendees
- Vendor Faire – over 30 vendors to visit and learn about their products and services
- 65 attendees from 30 dealers to meet with and network with
